For the first half of the year, Gemstone Safari Tanzania has ended its 17 day tour around the different mines in Tanzania.. The next Safari is scheduled on July 2014. Among the sites to visit are Spinel, Tsavorite, Sapphire, and Tanzanite mines.
At the end of the Safari, the participants can have a chance to learn how to cut and polished their mined gemstones from these mine sites free of charge at the Lapiday Training Center headed by Noreen Masaki. This is a wonderful way to explore the rich lands of the country and to get to know the people from Tanzania and around the world. Moreover participants will be having a chance to spot the different animals in the nearby national parks.
