Kilimanjaro International Airport, Moshi, Tanzania
The airport is clean and not too crowded compared the Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar Es Salaam perhaps due to the fact that people choosing this airport are those who are travelling the northern region of the country either for Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro or for Safari in Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara to mention a few and a lot more places welcoming to tourists.
The quite city of Moshi makes it a perfect hub for relaxing and unwinding for most tourists, joining nature in its calm and peaceful environment. The weather is nice all throughout the year with a bit of rain from the month of March to April and may extend to May. The best time to go is anytime of the year except the months mentioned. The city escapes the bustling city of Dar Es Salaam which makes it even more lovable for everyone who hates traffic jams.
Weather is cold in this region, so I would advice anyone who wishes to go to bring some thick clothes. If there is winter in Europe, there is also dry winter in Africa in these high altitude areas, so better be informed ahead to have a lovey dovey trip in Tanzania! :-)
