Travel is the teacher in Disguise

See the World for Free

Travel as everyone says, is the best experience. With mine, it is also the  meaningful and worthy teacher. It taught me a lot of things that I could not read from books, the subtle things that only I can feel when I am experiencing it at that particular time.
I am a sociologist and its power in me is driving me to places that i think can satisfy me with knowledge and experience. It amazes me to see the other side of the world completely different from my own.  Travel is my inspiration in writing and writing is my unspoken words.
By now, I have traveled in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australasia.  Each country I have visited  has touched my heart  in more ways than one!

One of my motivation to work hard is to travel to an unfamiliar place once a year. My last destination was Sydney, Australia. Sydney is not new to many, and its well known landmarks like the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge are among the top tourists destination while for those who like a laid back environment and quiet holiday, the Blue Mountains and the visit to Uluru will be a great place to be. Sad to say, as much as I want to be there, I was not able to. Being able to see the CBD and the two famous landmarks of NSW was more than enough for my visit last time. It was a home for me for a short time. There are many great places to be there depending on the ambiance that you would like to experience.

The food are plenty in the supermarkets. Fresh meats, fruits and vegetables or just anything you like. Of all the countries I have visited, I give Australia the 5 stars with the food.
People are nice but swearing becomes part of a daily routine. If you are a sensitive person like me at times or if you are not used to hearing bad words naturally like an expression, be aware because you might encounter one and I guess its pretty normal for some. It is perhaps differences in how people express their ideas. I owe it to cultural differences.
Weather is at its best for me in May and June just when flowers start to bloom and you I can feel the cold breeze softly touching my face. Gardening is my favorite past time apart from experimenting how to cook for my special one.

A trip to the CBD via train is way cheaper than getting a cab which can be 10 times fold. If you want to make the most of your experience, feel the local life, spend less, experience more!
